Personalised Support

We know that every child/young person’s needs are different so we are working to try and make the information and support Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer provides more personal.

Personalised information tools:

1)   My Shortlist – use this feature to save service/ organisation listings you are interested in and come back to them more quickly.

2)   Autism Wheel – use this tool to get information about Autism, requesting a referral and assessment and help after the diagnosis.

My Shortlist

What is a shortlist for?

As you use Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer website, you can build up your own personal list of services and activities that you are interested in.

This works like an online shopping basket, enabling you to see a summary of your shortlisted services. You can then print or email your shortlist for future reference.

How to use My shortlist?

You can view your current shortlist my pressing the yellow 'My Shortlist' button on the toolbar.

Add services to your shortlist by clicking the ‘Add to shortlist’ button displayed alongside each service/listing in your search. You can also remove services/listings by clicking ‘Remove from shortlist’.

Your shortlist will only be temporarily stored, so if you close down your browser your shortlist will be cleared. To delete all services/listings from you shortlist, click ‘Clear shortlist’ at any time.

Autism Wheel

What is the Autism Wheel for?

The Autism wheel is designed to assist parents in finding helpful services and resources for their child, who may be on the Autistic spectrum.

The wheel can be used to create a printable plan based upon a child’s individual needs, which can be shared with professionals as evidence of what you have tried and how you have been supported in your journey so far. It can also be used as a one stop shop for information about autism.

This wheel has been created in partnership with the NHS, ASDAT, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.

How do I use the Autism Wheel?

The Autism Wheel is currently under development. Please keep checking back.
