Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We are a weekly Cafe Support & Information 'Hub for families/carers having Pre-School children with Additional Needs.  All welcome with or without a diagnosis.   

WE ARE OPEN AGAIN  Tuesdays 10am - 12:30pm at present. Please see further updates on our FB page: hi-5talktimecafe for further sessions in future and we will look at school holidays opening on certain days again if there is a demand.  All  Post Covid precautions are in place.

Come and enjoy some of 'Your Time' over homemade cake and a cuppa. POST COVID we are encouraging all Parents,Grandparents and Carers with children now at school to come and see us, you will be very welcome! Various activities such as crafts, 'complementary therapies' 'Taster' sessions, you let us know what you would like and will try to provide for you?!

We have fun, lots of laughter & yes, sometimes tears! Share tips and any useful info for helping each other.

Hi-5talktimecafe is not a playgroup...BUT...we do have a range of Sensory items & Toys for your children to explore/play with... Come and see our own Hi-5Talktimecafe soft play Fire Engine! Ball pool. Sensory pod & lighting.

The National Lottery 'Community Awards for All' fund gave us a grant of £5,400 in 2019. We have funding for a Cooking Project from Cornwall Rural Community 'Together for Families' grant which came as we went into Covid Lockdown!  Watch this space for more updates when this will be possible.

We now have outside space in our garden at last!!  Have recently been successful in a grant for specialised play equipment by Cornwall Community Foundation, come and have fun!

We enjoy Makaton Singing & Signing. We offer Beginners Makaton courses from time to time.

Details of our future Events on FB.  THIS SUNDAY...3rd Oct our fundraiser Cream Tea  2.30 - 4.30pm with delicious homemade scones @ Bangors former Methodist chapel, Vicarage lane, Poundstock EX23 0AU. On the A39.

New Families and Volunteers are always very welcome in our growing group.

We have families coming from Launceston and Okehampton aswell as Bude, Holsworthy and surrounding areas.   Friendships are being formed which stops families feeling isolated and not having any support. The Three founders have Living Experience' within their own families over 30 years, so they know how parents/carers feel and are there for you in a Caring, Safe and Non Judgmental space.

Any family that has pre-school children with additional needs with or without a diagnosis are very welcome.

No Referral needed, just come along!   POST COVID we are finding and encouraging Parents, Grandparents, Carers who are wanting to come along by themselves now their children are school for some precious 'Their Time', which has always been our aim since starting our Cafe support group in 2017!
