Before each holiday we send out booking forms to allow parents to book spaces for holiday club and we can only run if there is enough interest to make holiday club viable. Those who have entered "yes" to use holiday club are notified of the decision.

EYFS Development tracking every term which is reviewed and any support is put into place.

We have very strong links with other professionals, they include, Speech and language, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, educational psychologist, Senior Area SENCO, school SENCO, community nurse, health visitors etc

How we support children transferring to school

By following our Transition policy.

By providing plenty of visits to their school, seeing their new classroom, having lunch in the hall, involved in assembly.

Specialist skills or training our staff have

Manager- SENCO 2 day training was March 2012 Manager attends SENCO network meetings every term Manager- Makaton 4 day training was April 2011 Room leader – Behaviour management 2 days was June 2012 All staff attended visual support training Dec 2012 All staff have paediatric first aid & food safety.

Deputy manager also has SENCO training.

We use My concern to record any safeguarding concerns, these files follow the child all through their primary school life.

Support we offer regarding children's health and well-being

Physical activities are planned and carried our at least 40 minutes each session.

Trailblazers follow Healthy Under 5's scheme providing 2 weekly snack menu.

Healthy eating advice is shared with parents.

Regular risk assessments are carried out.

All children are invited on trips and an additional support worker will be supplied to those children with SEND who require that individual support.
