Home Group - Bosvean

Home Group is proud of making a difference to people, communities, and shaping the future of housing. We are a strategic partner with Homes England and specialise in providing support to people with complex health and social care needs, including mental health, learning disabilities and older people. The way we make a difference is by understanding where people are in their lives, equipping them with the right tools to remain healthy, independent and connected to the communities in which they live. We are collaborative, integrating Health, Social Care and Housing to create environments where people get the right support, accommodation and opportunities to thrive.

Bosvean is a service providing self-contained accommodation in the community for customers with complex support needs in Cornwall. 'Complex Needs' in this instance means anyone with drug/alcohol addiction, mental ill-health, self-harm, hoarding or other high risk behaviour. The service has a 'limited tolerance' to drug/alcohol, meaning people must not be using illegal street drugs (although may have done so in the past) and managing their alcohol intake so as not to be a problematic current use. We have 5 self-contained flats at Bosvean. The work undertaken at Bosvean is funded through Cornwall Council’s Adult Social Care (ASC) “Empowering Independence” contracts from October 2019.

There is concierge on-site over the weekend period.  CCTV is recorded in all communal areas and displayed in the office.
