Coronavirus status: Open for key workers and vulnerable children

Childminding since February 2002, parent since 1996. Worked in a pre-school for 2 years prior to becoming a childminder. Children are cared for in a family 'home from home' environment, with one dog and 4 fish.  I am registered to accept Govt funding which allows parents to use part or all of their 15/30 hours 3 & 4 year old Nursery funding with me & 2 year old funding if eligible.
All activities are linked to a childs interests, age and stage of development. There are baby 'tummy time' toys, musical and battery operated noisy toys, treasure baskets, role play and dressing up clothes and hats, playdough, painting & crafts, Bead & button threading, lacing cards & weaving.
Construction, small world - dolls house, cars and garage, farm etc, music & dance and musical instruments, story time and sharing books, puzzles for all ages, Cooking & baking. We promote diversity and celebrate festivals from all cultures, with displays, food tasting & visits.
We have sand & water play & lots of messy play and getting dirty is part of our day! Being outdoors is very important and our new all weather play area has been well used since completion Winter '09. We also have access to a grassed area with low-level swing and giant tractor tyre for climbing.  There are ride-ons, ride-ins, pedal trikes & footballs.
We make regular visits to parks, woods, beaches, local attractions, and meet up with other childminders and their children. We attend childminding groups locally, soft play at various local businesses, Toddler Groups. Also swimming at a private pool and weekly gymnastics sessions. During the school holidays we venture further afield when we have school age children and have days out to Eden, Lands End, Charlestown Shipwreck Centre, Seal Sanctuary, Heligan etc, etc, etc. The children are consulted as to where they would like to visit.
I am fully insured with Public Liability Insurance and Business use on car insurance - all children have age & stage appropriate car seats.
