Redruth Kruthyl (making) 2020

An 8 week launch project starting 5th March to be continued through the year.

Every Thursday 1.30-3.30 PM funded by The National Lottery.

This project gives different generations opportunities to engage in creative activities together, sharing hopes and aspirations. Working with artists, writers and musicians, making art, artefacts and song for and about their communities.

Engaging people vulnerable to isolation people in fun, creative activities that will positively influence their thinking about themselves and each other; using culture to develop caring communities and encourage positive thoughts, fulfilling activities and safe behaviours.

We are offering the opportunity for people to write and illustrate their words or develop lyrics and perform songs. These will be performed or displayed in the community.

Note for professionals:

We are looking for new project partners, if you work with people vulnerable to isolation who would be interested in getting involved with the project we can offer 4 preparatory sessions before the project begins. These introduce drawing and painting techniques that develop positive thinking and safe behaviours whilst familiarising participants with the people and place of St Euny in a more relaxed way.
