Dementia Aware Wadebridge 2019 "Sharing Helpful Actions"

Following on from the success of the first conference in 2018 this event provides the opportunity for all interested parties to come together to share experiences to enable Wadebridge to become even more Dementia Aware and Memory Friendly.

As a community, Wadebridge is continuing to work towards becoming memory friendly. This conference is reaching out to retailers, businesses, services, care providers and local organisations to explore the helpful actions that we can all be doing to make a big difference to people living with memory loss.

Dementia Aware Wadebridge 2019 "Sharing Helpful Actions" is taking place on Tuesday 9th April 2019; 9:30am to 4pm at the John Betjeman Centre, Wadebridge.

Speakers will be sharing information on approaches that are helpful including the use of the natural environment, research underpinning helpful approaches, the things that social enterprises and retailers are doing to help.

To involve as many participants as possible the Conference is free to attend with donations to cover costs being invited on the day.

Lunch and beverages will be available to purchase at reasonable rates. When booking please tell us of any specific dietary needs you have.

Car parking on site at the John Betjeman Centre will be limited to disabled parking on the day. There is plenty of public car parking space in several car parks close by Including the Jubilee Road and Library; fees for which can be found here: http://www.wadebridge-tc.gov.uk/about-the-council/car-park-charges.html
