Support we offer regarding children's health and well-being

We have two Staff Members that have completed an accredited course for supporting children and young people with regard to their mental health and well-being.

As a setting we are exploring Emotion Coaching currently.

Ways we inform parents about how their child is being supported

We gather information, usually observations made by key person and supervisors - then invite parents in to have a chat with them if we have any concerns.

We regularly review their progress every 6 weeks through the plan do review cycle and keep parents fully informed throughout the process. They are able to contribute and share t any point during their child's time with us.

Our complaints policy

We have a Policy which may be found on our website for a procedure to be followed regarding complaints.

Access

Alterations we have made to make our building accessible

Our building is purpose built so access is straightforward for all.

Facilities we have for personal care

We have a Disabled Toilet facility which could easily be made available for personal care.

Personal Care Plans are put in place if required for the individual.

Specialist resources we have

Depending on the need we will request as appropriate.

How we include all children in activities, such as trips

All children are invited to attend our trips and visits.

We often allocate an extra staff member and invite parents to attend if they wish.
