'Out to Play in Cornwall' is inspired by playful places in Cornwall that you can visit and playful people who have been involved in improving their local play areas.  It covers subjects like:

  • natural features
  • getting children involved
  • how to choose a supplier
  • useful contacts and other sources of information
  • making play areas accessible

'Out to play in Cornwall' passes on ideas for engaging children and young people in designing and developing their own play areas and examples of natural playful features with low installation and low maintenace costs in recognition of the need to make resources stretch further. Play areas are:
