Roseland Outdoor Education Centre
Roseland Outdoor Centre offers residential accommodation for up to 34 people in a converted Victorian school. This Centre specialises in maritime work and uses a variety of craft. Traditional sailing boats and dinghies allow groups to explore local coastal waters in safety. Their fleets of canoes and kayaks are ideal for journeys and expeditions into the rivers and many creeks of the upper reaches of the Estuary.
The centre which is centrally heated has three main dormitories, one with 14 bunks and two with 8 and 2 separate rooms which can be used by staff with 1 bunk in each. There is a kitchen, a large day room, a dining room, toilets, washing and shower areas, accessible toilet and shower; plus a drying room. The centre is self-catering however catering can be provided on request at an extra cost. For groups larger than 34, camping can be arranged in the Roseland Centres' grounds.
