Taking Our Achievements and Successes Together (TOAST)
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

TOAST is an educational programme, designed by and for young people, who are 16 - 18 years old or up to 24 years old with an EHCP, it is delivered by Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, in partnership with V Learning Net.

Students undertake employability and functional skills qualifications as well as learning life skills and undertaking work experience.  Study programs are individually designed to ensure each student gets the education and training that is most relevant to them. We believe in keeping class sizes small, with a maximum of 10 students per class, with at least two members of staff to support students and offer extra support where required.

Sessions are held at The Elms, Redruth and The Bank, St Austell

How our service supports providers / schools / colleges

We work closely with many providers, schools and colleges in the area, supporting students to progress with they individual futures, which may include supporting them to progress in the future to move into career subject courses, which will be supported in any way we can.

Support at key transition points

Transitions are important to us and we feel that a good transition into our provision or into future provision is highly important and we try to work with the young people, family/carers and professionals to ensure this is as smooth as it can be.

Resolving disagreements, mediation and making complaints

We have highly detailed policies and procedures, which anyone can have access to if they would like to make any feedback about the services, we offer.
