Yeomans, Simone Ann
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
I provide Childcare for children of all ages, alongside my own children, one of which is home educated, the other is still under school age. Contact me to discuss availability and to see if i can meet your and your children's needs.
I have always worked and cared for children. After having my second child in 2019, and with my eldest no longer in a school setting, I have decided to care for children from home.
Please inquire if you require hours outside of my normal hours.

Early Years Local Offer response
- Systems and strategies we have in place to identify children that may require additional support
I use tapestry to record and monitor each child's development, if they are not meeting their expected stage of development then I can monitor and encourage the areas required. If this is not helping or a parent/carer also has concerns then I can seek further advice via early help hub.
- How we identify and support children's learning and development needs
I use tapestry to record childrens observations and development levels. This helps me identify their stages and what areas need development and their next steps.
- Links we have to other agencies
I have a very close friend that I seek advice from regularly (maintaining confidentiality), she is a child psychologist in the area. She has alot of knowledge on send and will give me advice when required or help me seek further advice.
- How we support children transferring to school
I can take children to attend settling in days. Read stories about going to school and allow them to talk to children already at school. We can role play going to school and watch informative videos about schools if required.
Learning and development
- Specialist skills or training our staff have
I have training in autism, adhd and epilepsy so far. If there is anything else needed then please enquire and I will happily look into training for it.
- Support we offer regarding children's health and well-being
I will follow any reasonable support suggested and seek advice when needed.
- Ways we inform parents about how their child is being supported
I can inform parents via tapestry of their children's development, via face to face conversations when needed or I am avaliable to email, what's app or phone call.
- Our complaints policy
I have a complaints form freely available. This can be sent out and to keep during the sign up process or another can be given when requested.
My ofsted number is on show in my entrance way and I can be reported to ofsted if required.
Welfare
- Alterations we have made to make our building accessible
Unfortunately, my home is not accessible for physical disabilities.
- Facilities we have for personal care
I have a toilet room downstairs to aid children using the toilet. I also have a changing mat for those still in nappies.
- Specialist resources we have
I have sensory texture toys and chewllery for any child seeking sensory stimulation. We try and get a lot of exercise from climbing or running around or doing dance/exercise videos if we cannot go outside and PECS cards to aid communication.
Due to the past needs of children in my care, I have many different sensory seeking toys, which is gradually increasing. Climbing frames and trampoline can be brought inside during very bad weather.
- How we include all children in activities, such as trips
As I have a range or children and their abilities already, I alter activities slightly to include the different abilities of each child. I also find that older, more capable children help the younger, less able children to do activities.
