- How we make our service inclusive
some staff member s have had previous experience working with children and young people with SEND. It is a shared traditional community building so physical adaptations may be difficult to make to the building be we are always happy to listen to specific needs for a child and see how we can best provide for them.
- Staff SEND experience
one volunteer previously worked providing physiotherapy for children. the Lead staff member (myself) has worked a number of years within the Cornwall Short Breaks services.
- How our service supports providers / schools / colleges
Happy Days St Minver has been working with us over the past few months and intend to continue to do so with monthly visits
- Support at key transition points
the visits from a Happy Days staff member has provided a good link for the children going into the Nursery stage.
- Resolving disagreements, mediation and making complaints
