Employability Support and Skills Training
Our ‘Supporting Jobseekers in Cornwall’ and 'Vocational Taster Course' Programmes provide ‘end-to-end’ employability support specific to each participant. Once referred to us a participant is assigned an employability officer who meets with them, discusses training options, skills they might need and what industry they would like to go into. While they are completing their training their employability officer will search for suitable jobs and have regular catch-up meetings to keep them engaged and supported. We cover the whole of Cornwall.
Training on offer includes:
- CSCS Green Card Health and Safety Course.
- Support Work in Schools
- Food Safety in Catering Lvl 2.
- Health and Safety Lvl 2
- Level 3 Emergency First Aid
- Employability skills
If you are unemployed and living in Cornwall all training and support is fully funded.
