Nansledan School
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Nansledan School (Skol Nansledan in Cornish) is a brand new 14-classroom school that will cater for 420 children (two-form entry) and be operated by the Aspire Academy Trust which already supports 27 primary school academies across Cornwall. It is due to open in September 2019.

It aims to nurture intelligent, employable global citizens who demonstrate social competence, a desire for learning and respect for each other and the world around them.

We are taking the sustainable ethos of Nansledan to inform and shape the school curriculum in a way that not only complements the surrounding development but reinforces what Nansledan has to say about how we lead our lives.  Our innovative STEAM curriculum will be broad and balanced and built around the principles of active discovery and experiential learning, using Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding pupil enquiry, dialogue and critical thinking.

The children of Nansledan School will be the innovators, educators, leaders and learners of the 21st century and the school motto “Today’s Learners, Tomorrow’s Leaders” reflects this vision.
