St Uny CE Academy
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We are situated in Carbis Bay, a very beautiful, seaside location just on the outskirts of St Ives in west Cornwall. It is my great pleasure and privilege to be the Executive Principal of such a very happy and caring school. Our children are well-behaved, they work hard, try their best and thoroughly enjoy their learning – they are, quite simply a pleasure to teach! Our staff are committed to making learning exciting and interesting by selecting inspiring study themes, linking real experience and visits to the study theme each term. Our curriculum helps children understand more about their local area whilst being outward facing, fully preparing them for life in modern Britain.  Because of this our children leave us well prepared to embrace their next step in education.  We take great pride in nurturing them as they develop into truly remarkable citizens of tomorrow. We teach the British values of equality, diversity, democracy and respect for all throughout our whole curriculum, alongside the Christian values of friendship, compassion, creativity, peace and hope. In addition to the organised visits and visitors linked to learning there are also many opportunities to develop personal interests through the many residential experiences, sports and after school clubs which range from surfing to chess. Through residential and enrichment opportunities, we immerse children in multi-cultural experience. All children learn about many other countries and cultures every year.  They learn about and appreciate the interdependence of all countries in the world.
