I will care for your children in a family home environment. I have a small dog and do not smoke. I have a large enclosed garden, but also visit the local park and the beach. I live with my husband and 2 older sons (18 & 21), one of whom is away in New Zealand working at present. I am able to drop off the children to Shortlanesend School in Truro.
I have obtained my degree in Children's Integrated Services, as well as Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety-Early Years and Safeguarding. I will try as far as possible to attend an additional twenty four hours of professional development each year. I have over 11 years experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in a local Primary School and the past six months as a child minder and private tutor.
I have never had to advertise as spaces have generally filled through word of mouth. I have recently registered with Ofsted in March and I am accredited, which means I can access funding for 3 and 4 year olds. Unfortunately, at present I have no vacancies.

I have worked as a HLTA in a primary school for many years and experienced additional support in a variety of circumstances. My knowledge and experience, coupled with thorough observations highlight any areas where a child may need extra support.

Through careful delivery of the EYFS, using appropriate supporting documents, ongoing observations, planning appropriate activities and ultimately, getting to know the children extremly well.
