Time Out for Autistic Spectrum Disorder (3-12 Years) - Bodmin
Time Out from ASD is an evidence based programme designed for any parent of a child with ASC who may have behavioural, emotional or school difficulties.
The programme runs for 10 weeks delivered as a series of 2 hour weekly sessions. The first seven sessions are a Time Out for Special Needs course and the final three sessions make up the Time Out for ASD component. Sessions are:
- Parenting with Children with Special Needs
- Self Esteem
- Coping with Your Feelings
- Understanding Behaviour
- Managing Behaviour
- Home and School Issues
- The Wider Family
Sessions 8,9and 10 give more specific information on the condition.

Fore Street is one way from the bottom end of town where the main car park is situated. Bodmin FH has very limited parking but there is some free on street parking starting 200metres past the Hub as one drives past.

Referral onto this course is through the Early Help Hub who can be contacted on 01872 322277 or www.cornwall.gov.uk/earlyhelphub They will discuss your needs and send the request though to the Parenting and Adult Education Lead who will then follow up on the request in person.
