Lucy Applewhite Childminding
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Our primary aim is to work in partnership with you to provide a safe, caring, home from home environment for your child. How we do this is by providing maximum opportunities through explorative play with a variety of themes and activities.
We Monitor this by recording your child’s progress throughout the year on an online learning journey, which has lots of pictures and art work for you to eventually take home and treasure.
Our setting is not only equipped for young children but right up to the age of 12years. We have computers & Ipads for home work and offer a homework support club. We have a range of equipment and toys for all ages and stages of development and our garden is generously equipped with climbing frames, play house, ride along toys, balls, sand and water and many more choices of educational equipment.
Our team offer you over 13 years combined experience in nurseries, after school clubs and home based childcare settings.
We are continuously adapting our skills and knowledge to keep up with best practise and pride ourselves on the fact that we are always looking to improve so we can offer you the best.
We cater for children from age ranges 0yrs to 12 yrs and have experience in special needs. We are open 5 days a week and operate from 7am till 6.30pm (but we are not limited to these times).
