YV Young Volunteering
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
YV is a project for 11 - 25 year olds in Cornwall who need a bit of extra help. Maybe they have mental health issues, SEN, LDD, or are young carers, children in care or care leavers, unemployed or possibly they are isolated and lonely and they could benefit from some supported volunteering to make them feel better about themselves.

Volunteer Cornwall works very closely with providers, schools and colleges. We have delivered a range of projects in collaboration with these partners.
- Support at key transition points
YV can support children, young people and families at key transition points such as KS4 to KS5, before the school holidays - especially the long summer break. In addition we can help with the move on from college/VI form and beyond.

Volunteer Cornwall has robust policies in place for resolving disagreements and there is a complaints procedure.
