Our Driving Assessors are all experienced Approved Driving Instructors with specialist knowledge of the potential impact of medical conditions or physical disabilities on driver safety and comfort.

They are supported by a fully qualified Occupational Therapist and can offer advice, information, assessment and training in the use of adapted or modified driving controls and seating.

If you would like help or advice about learning to drive or returning to driving following an illness or injury or if you have a disability, the team will chat with you, assess your requirements and help to identify any problems with driving safety then discuss with you any solutions that could help you to start or continue driving.

We can offer tuition for novice and experienced drivers, especially when adapted or modified driving controls are required. This can either be in one of our adapted cars or in your own car. Help with the theory test is also available.

Although the main base is Truro the team visit Liskeard, Plymouth, Exeter, Penzance, Launceston and Holsworthy on a regular basis to carry out assessments.
