Early Years Local Offer response

Learning and development

Systems and strategies we have in place to identify children that may require additional support

Our staff are fully trained to support children with SEN. For children who have a 1:1 in school we would require that to be in place prior to them starting with us.

Welfare

Specialist skills or training our staff have

Our staff have continuous training planned each year to support the children and the setting.

Support we offer regarding children's health and well-being

We liase closely with families and ensure that we fully meet every child's health and well being requirements.

Ways we inform parents about how their child is being supported

We have meetings with parents several times each year and liase with them on a daily basis.

Our complaints policy

All complaints are fully recorded and investigated. This is shared with the person who has made the complaint.

Access

Alterations we have made to make our building accessible

The building is a modern children centre building with disabled toilets and wide doors.

Facilities we have for personal care

Adequate toilet facilities.

Specialist resources we have

We have access to mobile library and we have a good range of equipment.

How we include all children in activities, such as trips

We assess each individual need and plan to ensure that every child can access special activities and trips.
