Early Years Local Offer response
- Systems and strategies we have in place to identify children that may require additional support
We have a child centred approach which highlights quickly if extra support is needed. We use tracking and scrutiny to identify needs and progress.
- How we identify and support children's learning and development needs
Again we are child centred and use scrutiny and tracking to highlight interventions. we offer support where needed seeking advice from outside agencies.
- Links we have to other agencies
We have good links with the SEN team, S&L and other outside agencies plus we work well with local support groups i.e Lansen together to offer extra support and friendships
- How we support children transferring to school
We work closely with the schools to ensure a smooth individual transition the will suit their needs. this can involve a later transition if the school agrees and having linked sessions with the key worker and school staff.
