Early Years Local Offer response

Learning and development

Systems and strategies we have in place to identify children that may require additional support

All parents fill out all about me forms before the child starts at my setting, detailing childrens development and learning styles.

I support children through:

*Observations.

*Tracking and next steps.

*By support and work with health visitors in provideing a 2 year check for parents/cares to share.

If a child requires additional support i will monitor/observe/document and involve parents/carers and other professionals for example a speech and language specialist,We will then work together to assess and plan activities to plan their needs, which are reviewed continuously.

I am able to apply for the early years access grant for funding if required.
