Boskenwyn Primary School
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Our delightful school was founded in 1877 to serve the local farming communities of three parishes.  We enrol children from the age of 3 into our Early Years Unit and they progress to becoming full-time pupils at the start of the Reception year.  All of our amazing staff, governors and parents/carers work closely together to provide a safe and happy environment for all where children thrive and strive to be the best they can be.  Our main aim is to educate the whole child, develop lively enquiring minds, and develop a love for learning for life.

Since July 2015, we have been federated with Germoe School, near Praa Sands. This has provided much wider opportunities for all of our children, staff and parents.

Travel details can be found in the school prospectus. The majority of pupils come to school by car but obviously walking and cycling are other ways in which to arrive. Cycle and footways are being investigated to make travel safer and the possibility of a regular bus service passing the school is also being looked at.
