Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Brannel School is a thriving, caring school with huge expectations. Our central mission is for our students to aspire to achieve beyond the expectations that others place on them.
Our goal is for each and every one of our students to be the best that they can be. We recognise there are many ways to succeed and many different ways to get there. As a truly mixed comprehensive with specialist provision for students with physical disabilities, we enable children and young people of all abilities to succeed.
I believe that the Brannel team works so well because our teachers, support staff, governors, parents and carers are focused on aiming high in order to achieve the best we can for our students. We believe that raising aspirations plays a critical part in raising educational achievement. The real strength of our school is summed up in this recent comment from one of our parents... "the building is stunning but it's the people who make Brannel so special".
In November 2017 Brannel School became an academy as part of the Newquay Education Trust (NET). We believe that we will achieve more through collective strength and shared responsibility. The partnership is based on the fundamental principles of real collaboration to secure educational opportunity and excellence for all children, regardless of their starting point in life. At the heart of our shared vision is the belief that education is as seamless and continuous journey and our core purpose is to create and ever improving vision across the Trust which will provide the best opportunities for children and young people across Mid Cornwall.
We invite you to see us at work, to meet with students and staff, and to become part of our emerging success story.
