Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Hello and welcome to Emma's Childcare!
My name is Emma, I'm 33 years old and I'm a OFSTED registered childminder in Falmouth. I have been registered since October 2016.
I have 10yrs+ experience within childcare from newborns onwards. I am passionate about children and in my business, your child comes first!
Before I opened my own business I worked in a nursery as the baby room leader. However I also worked in all areas throughout the nursery with all different ages of children from 2 year olds to the pre-school children.
I have also been a nanny and I'm a babysitter too !
I like to think I provide a home from home feel, where children in my care feel safe and secure in homely surroundings, where they can express themselves in whichever way they like, where they can learn and develop at their own pace through an enabling environment. The children in my care have A LOT of fun while also learning at their own pace.
I provide a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and go on LOTS of outings, we take trips to the beach, walks through the woods, we go swimming and have fun at the park - they are just a few outings that your child(ren) would be enjoying while in my care, which promote all ares of learning from the EYFS.
*Level 3 Diploma in Childcare
*Paediatric First Aid
*Effective Safeguarding Practice
I am also a member of Quality Childminding in Cornwall.
I also have additional training in many other areas and a full clean driving licence
I have a lovely dog called Roxy at my home, she is 15, she doesn't have much contact with the children, unless you agree your child can and then she sometimes comes out on outings with us, otherwise she is mainly in the back garden in her little house :)
I can provide great references from parents on request
