New Age Kurling - Argyle Community Trust
'Extra Time' is a social project designed for people aged 55 or over, to have the opportunity to be involved in fun activities. The weekly session is based within a welcoming, friendly atmosphere that indirectly promotes health and well-being. The newly-launching social session balances light exercise with plenty of social opportunities engaging those who may have been or are possibly excluded from community provisions.
As part of Extra Time, one of the popular social activities we are offering is 'New Age Kurling’, an adapted version of Curling without the ice!
Launching 24th April 2019 and running every Wednesday 2-4pm, the programme will involve structured games and competitions mixed with refreshments and an optional raffle for anyone who wants to get involved. Sessions will be £3 per person, with the first session offered Free of Charge!
If you know of anyone who would benefit from this provision or you yourself would like to come along to try the project out, please book a place by emailing me on firstname.lastname@example.org, with your full name and a contact number.
It would be great to meet with you and explain a little more, failing that I am happy for you to make contact with me on the details below, either email or mobile number would be best.
