As with everything we do, there are strong underlying principles to our café – it is not just somewhere to come and enjoy a good cup of coffee or freshly baked cake. The staff in the cafe, each from disadvantaged backgrounds, are being trained and provided with invaluable skills, from shelling peas in the kitchen to front of house customer service.

CHAOS offers people the opportunity to access an innovative day care service whereby they volunteer as part of a team in our cafe. As part of the opportunity we deliver problem solving activities, confidence building and support with budgeting and general life skills. If appropriate, people can access additional employability support.
