Hello, my name is Hayley Savage, (though everyone knows me as H) and I am a stay at home mum, who lives in Gooseham, Morwenstow, which is 10 miles from Bude. I live with my husband and our 2 daughters  both now in secondary school. We live in a lovely large house with a big garden, a pond, flowers, fruit bushes and apple trees.  We have a dog, 2 cats, and some chickens.

I have always enjoyed being around children. I went to college and completed a care course and did some work experience in the college crèche as well as in a care home as part of my course. After college I worked in a nursery for a while, during which I enjoyed playing games and doing activities with the children, I also helped with school runs, dropping off and collecting the children from schools.  I went on to meet my husband and we had our two daughters. In the past, I have helped at the local school with forest school and being a parent helper on trips and outings. I was keen to get back in to working with children now that my daughters are getting older and are in full time education.

I don’t drive so we walk on school runs, what ever the weather and we talk about the children’s day, and talk about the things we can see on our way to and from school.

I am flexible but my general working hours are 8am - 6pm, Monday - Thursday
