My name is Sara and I am a registered childminder with a wealth of experience as a mum to 4 children of my own and also having spent 8 years locally as a Teaching Assistant. I have a degree and diploma, and relevant childcare qualifications to Level 3 NVQ Teaching & Learning Support.

My own children are all grown up now.  My husband Paul works primarily with me and we keep tropical fish.  We have a new addition to the setting; Lottie a fox red Labrador who is in training  

I have worked as a childminder for over 10 years and have a number of registered assistants who help me. My husband Paul is my full time assistant. 

My house has a dedicated childcare room with a reading corner, ride-on toys, craft zone,and child friendly tables and chairs to accomodate all ages. I have two outdoor patio areas, one primarily for children and one for family seating. The outdoor area is always evolving.

I plan activities at home including messy play, paint, cooking and craft. We follow the EYFS. We occasionally go on excursions to Penrose Walks, the beach or National Trust places. We occasionally go to the local library. 

We have two vehicles at our disposal for outings.

My most recent OFSTED inspection of June 2022 awarded me again  as an Outstanding Provider.
