Hearing Loss Cornwall
Hearing Loss Cornwall is a Cornish charity at the forefront of helping people with deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus to live fulfilling lives in a world geared to sound! The charity provides information, advice, support or signposting to individuals or organisations on all aspects of hearing loss, as well as communication support.
Providing a vital service to Deaf and people living with hearing loss in Cornwall since 1931, our mission is to help people know that they have a place for their voice to be heard.
Working in association with businesses, educational centres and various statutory and health bodies, we deliver the highest standard of British Sign Language interpreting and translation services. We also offer a specialist Lip-speaking service for hard of hearing people and note taking as well as advocacy services. Our mission is to make people more "Deaf Aware" and we are happy to offer training and workshops to groups, however big or small.
