Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change is a charity and a social enterprise whose mission is to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged neighbourhoods in Cornwall.
Our vision is to create vibrant and thriving communities with the resources, opportunities and choices for all residents to pursue positive dreams and ambitions.
CN4C delivers vital services to people, places and communities across Cornwall. These services include community learning and outreach, skills for life, employment support programmes, support and capacity building for residents associations, communities and their neighbourhoods, youth and play development services, and landscaping and community facilities support.
Community projects being run at present include Parent Participation: Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities; Advice on debt, housing, benefit and tax credit advice for families with children 0 – 5; Play development including Play Days and access to accredited Playwork training in targeted areas; Youth Work in Camborne, Pool and Redruth where there is access to the accredited Youth Work Training.
CN4C offers a range of services to children, young people an adults across Cornwall ranging from employment support; parenting programmes; environmental projects and training.
In Bodmin and Truro we offer 1-2-1 and group based health trainer support for those people wishing to improve their health. This support can include help to lose weight, manage some health conditions, get fitter, build confidence and self esteem and get out and about more.
We offer a range of activities for children and young people related to play and sports including football training, football tournaments, play days and outreach based youth work.
We also offer some excellent opportunities for volunteering and employment. Our current vacancies can be found on the website.
