Children are to wear hi viz jackets, register is completed on collections and children are supervised at all times by staff members. We use the pedestrian crossings and the lollipop ladies when available

Good communication with children, parents and carers. Planning and regular training, staff members to complete online Send training and attend any local support groups and training. Staff to have regular meetings to support and engage with children.

How we support children transferring to school

Group discussions about new schools, our older children provide good support to the younger children transferring. Good communication with all schools. Building good relationships with all staff members within the school and sharing any concerns or advice to enable a good transition for the child.

Our complaints policy

The manager is responsible for dealing with complaints. If not resolved through informal discussion, a letter of complaint should be given and the manager will investigate and reply to all who apply. Child protection issues will be referred to the local authority.

How we include all children in activities, such as trips

Holiday club, day trips and visits to our local area are planned for every child to be included. Extra staff for busy days, closer destinations for children who require support with a wheelchair or walking.
