St Joseph's School
St Joseph's School, Launceston is an award-winning Independent Day School for boys and girls from 3–16.
St Joseph's has a truly unique atmosphere. The school's small size means that it is possible to keep sight of strong family values, which gives children the confidence necessary to succeed, and to allow both staff and pupils to work happily together. Due to the high teacher-pupil ratio, St Joseph's is able to encourage each pupil to reach his or her full potential through positive encouragement and commendation.
In 2013 GCSE pupils achieved a superb set of results with 100% gaining five A* – C grades including Maths and English; 42% of which were awarded at A* & A grades. This is a remarkable achievement as St Joseph's is a non-selective school.
St Joseph’s are a non-selective school meaning that there is no entrance exam and admission is possible at any time throughout a child’s education. Fees are set at levels which offer tremendous value for money, particularly in the light of what is on offer to all the pupils at the school and our excellent academic results.
Academic and Sports Scholarships are offered from 7+ and Music Scholarships from 11+. Bursaries are available and considered on an individual basis.
An extensive daily bus service (7 bus routes) allows pupils from a wide area of Devon and Cornwall to attend St Joseph's.
