Sarah PSHE CIC
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
All children and young people should be given the opportunity to make their own informed decisions about their health and sexuality through excellent PSHE education to enable them to celebrate their differences, prepare them for adulthood and to give them the tools to protect themselves through their childhood and the rest of their lives.
As a Registered Nurse and Midwife With 10 years experience of delivering PSHE in both Primary and Secondary School settings, I worked for a number of years in Family Planning and Young people’s Sexual Health Services as well as School Nursing. I am a chartered Teacher of the PSHE Association.
Research shows that not all professional teachers are comfortable delivering certain subjects in PSHE and that a number of students are equally uncomfortable having the subject discussed by the teacher.
We offer a fully comprehensive service which can be tailored to the needs of the individual schools and covers all the current curricular requirements. As well as supporting children with special needs.
Also offering in-house training in schools and to parent groups on a variety of health education subjects. Especially preparing for compulsory SRE.
Our programme of work was recently selected by a group of young people as 1 of the top 10 best examples of RSE and will be featured in a report, to showcase high-quality RSE to Government.
Offering bespoke dolls for sale anatomically similar to support SRE lessons for children and sen.
Also offering support with curriculum writing for Sept 2020 when SRE becomes compulsory in primary schools, and teacher training and empowering for sre teaching
