The Big Doggy Day Out Summer Festival - Royal Cornwall Showground

Our biggest event just got bigger!

The Big Doggy Day Out Summer Festival now features two whole days of non-stop activities, as well as live music, a bar and street food area, and over 30 exhibitors offering dog products and services to keep you, your family and of course your furry friends entertained and excited...

You'll also have access to a seminar area with workshops and talks from experts including Andrew Hale (Sunday only) and Paws & Praise, and so much more!


Activities (included in the standard ticket price) include:
- Grooming demos with expert groomer Sam from Pampered Pooches
- Have-a-go agility
- Have-a-go hoopers – the new craze hitting the doggy world!
- Canine first aid workshops – a 30-minute taster session on the basics of first aid for dogs
- Fun scent game – can your pooch locate the carefully hidden sausages?
- Canine Olympics – jumping through hoops and a host of other fun activities
- Flyball have-a-go and displays, with 4x4 Flyball Club
- Dog displays
- Canine massage taster sessions

The following extra-special activities carry an additional charge:
- Have your dog's photo taken in our pet photo booth
- Trick training with Hoops & Hounds – teach your dog new tricks to show off to friends and family (trick training ticket required – book your time-slot when you arrive or email

There will also be some activities to help our supported charities raise funds, including:
- A fun charity dog show, with proceeds going to K9 Crusaders Dog Welfare (Saturday) and Refuge4Pets (Sunday)
- Temptation alley - can your pet resist temptation to complete the course in the quickest time? All proceeds to Refuge4Pets
- Fun scurry – can your pooch jump the hay-bales in record time? (Prize for the fastest!) All proceeds go to English Springer Spaniel Welfare

Standard ticket (online): £7 including all fees

Additional activities with a ticket bought at the gate: £1 each

Trick training ticket (online): £10 including all fees
This ticket includes unlimited activities (excludes charity activities), plus trick training for one dog

Charity activities cost £1.50, with all proceeds going to the named charity.

Under 16s go for free!
