Shortlanesend School is situated in the village of Shortlanesend, two miles north of Truro City in Cornwall.  It is a thriving, happy school where everyone is valued and respected. 

Our aim is to provide the children in our care with the best possible start in life and to support them develop into confident individuals, who understand their rights and responsibilities as members of our school and wider community.   Our mission statement 'Where children smile, learn and excel' underpins all we set out to achieve for our children, and could equally be applied to our staff; who are passionate and dedicated to their individual roles, rise to any challenge and enjoy the supportive and fun ethos of being at Shortlanesend School.
