Looe Community Academy
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Looe Community Academy is a friendly, caring school, which expects high standards of achievement, effort and behaviour from all students. We are a successful community school; and our examination results are consistently good.

We believe a student’s journey through school is as important as the formal qualifications achieved. To this end, we work through partnerships to provide students with a safe, purposeful learning environment, where good relationships and responsibility to others are nurtured. It is our belief that students should be actively involved in the life of the school and its community to encourage positive and appropriate development of their abilities, characters and personalities.

Our Performing Arts status allows participation at many levels throughout the school and the community. It provides opportunities for building confidence, team work, commitment, performance and fun.

Having been awarded high performing specilalist school status, our new specialism of Maths and Computing means an exciting new challenge, new resources and an increased commitment to community learning. As a school we are always looking to the future and responding to the challenges of a changing world.
