Flock Together - Countryside Club (Gratton Wood Care Farm)
Flock together is a registered daycare service in the Liskeard area.
It combines a small sheep farm with day activities for vulnerable adults, who would like to experience and learn about animal husbandry, countryside crafts and the nature studies. Our livestock contains sheep, pigs and chickens and the donkeys and pony love a groom and pamper.
We offer small numbers of adults day activities on a mixed farm of sheep chickens, donkeys pony and pigs, who would like to learn and explore animal care, conservation and nature study skills. In the winter months or in bad weather we offer rural crafts . and woodwork with hand tools. We are very client-centred who are known as co farmers/workers, who will lead the learning and we facilitate this each week.
We are a qualified and professional wife and husband team with 10 years of experience in the care and farming industry. We work closely with very small groups of vulnerable adults bringing a positive change in their lives through a process known as social therapeutic activities.
In a relaxed and calm environment with space to learn and explore, we discreetly supervise and monitor at all times, giving a sense of freedom.
