Cornwall Rural Community Charity

Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC) supports local groups and individuals via a wide range of projects. This can be helping communities to plan their future, developing community skills to run their groups well and giving support to groups progressing funding applications eg for coastal and fisheries groups, community organisations etc.

There’s a carers service which is delivered jointly with Action for Children, CRCC and the Family Information Service, Cornwall Council.

There are many skills training opportunities and also confidence boosting training in IT for older learners, vulnerable people etc. CRCC’s project portfolio is varied and changes from time to time as demand is recognised and funding allows.

CRCC is part of a network of 38 RCCs across England. CRCC’s main office is in central Truro and another in Penzance.

With over 70 years of evolving experience to draw upon, CRCC is one of the longest enduring charities in Cornwall with work reaching people across the county and where funding sources allow extends to the Isles of Scilly.

If you would like help establishing a group, growing a community organisation or holding a consultation with your community, CRCC may be the place to start to look for support.  Please see CRCC’s website for more details on what is available www.cornwallrcc.org.uk
