Illumin8
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Illumin8 is a project to bring young people with physical disabilities together.

The project is for those aged 18-30 with a physical impairment and aims to run a user-led activity program helping our members to become more independent. Active8 encourages young people to become more autonomous and explore independent living, travel, volunteering, employment and leisure through various day and residential activities.

Activities have included trips to London, Butlins, Clubbing, sports, arts & crafts etc. the list of what we can do is endless so get in contact to find out more.

Most importantly, Active8 gives young people a community within which they feel safe, with shared peer experiences, allowing young people to receive and give support and friendship. This project seeks to further the links between young people, by designing and delivering a peer mentoring service, requested by the young people, for the young people.

Our aim at Active8 is to reduce boundaries to participation and all our projects are fully funded so our activities are free of charge to all.
