Circle time, water, sand, outside play space.
All activities that happen inside our nursery to cover the 6 areas of learning are also provided for in the outside area - tables are taken outside on to the balcony area.
We also use the outside area to provide different medias to access learning eg:writing on the flax with chalks, painting on walls & huge pieces of wall paper, gross movements with scarfs and kites, environmental sand play, co-operation and physical play with parachute games, creative development by building with crates, tryes and planks of wood, climbing on large climbing equipment and obstacle courses etc etc etc........
