Looe Primary Academy
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Looe Primary is a great school to be part of and we have been working really hard to provide exciting learning opportunities for all our children.

We are a larger than average Primary in Cornwall, with around 250 pupils on roll. The children enjoy a spectacular setting overlooking the sea and we look to involve our amazing outdoors in our learning where we can.

Our school motto is " together we can make a difference" and our trained team of 37 staff ensure that by working together opportunities are optimised for all our children.

Our new Governing Body are supportive of the school moving forwards and offer appropriate challenge to the head and the leadership team.

Our children are happy and enjoy their time at Looe Primary. They tell us that learning is fun and teachers are always there to help them. We know our children love it here, because they keep coming back when they are supposed to have left! Our parent and family questionnaires tell us that they are happy with the school, they feel their children are safe and that the school cares about them.

During the last year, our school community worked together to form our Mission Statement, Vision and Values.  We have all contributed to this; children, families, staff, governors, and we believe that we demonstrate this vision and these values in the way that our school feels and in the way that we behave.

Looe Primary staff and governors work hard to meet these expectations and do our best to deliver a curriculum that excites, motivates, and enables all our children to achieve well. We treat the children as our own and want the very best for each of them so that when they leave us to go to the Secondary School they have many happy memories of their time here.
