Gerrans School
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Gerrans is a small school with an emphasis on a strong community feel. We celebrate and capitalize on all the positive aspects of a small school.
Located on The Roseland Peninsula we try to use our beautiful local surroundings to enhance our curriculum as much as possible. We aim to encourage every individual to become an active, confident learner prepared to take risks and learn from mistakes. My colleagues and I are extremely proud of our School and the cheerful, happy atmosphere that exists.
We are also proud to be part of The Roseland Multi Academy Trust and work closely alongside staff and pupils from Tregony Primary and The Roseland Academy.
Currently, Gerrans consists of 18 pupils in KS2 working across three learning areas always with a qualified teacher and a part time teaching assistant. KS1 consists of 21 pupils learning within a bright and cheerful inside and outside learning areas with a qualified teacher and full time teaching assistant. Little Choughs Nursery currently with 8 pupils operates alongside KS1, again with stimulating indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
