SeaChange Retreats CIC

Led by Dr Helen Reynolds, Specialist Clinical Psychologist, Dr Bhavna Oza, NHS Doctor and Dannie MacLennan, COO, SeaChange Retreats CIC are bespoke retreats for adults impacted by cancer. Through surfing, yoga, mindfulness and specialist workshops, we offer participants the opportunity to take time out for themselves – to strengthen physically and emotionally; to feel restored and nourished; and to build connections with others with similar experiences. Supported by research and evidence, and guided by feedback and consultation, we are proud to offer our retreats to the cancer community. Retreats are free for participants to access, funded through grants and donations. Come and join us!

Our offerings include three types of retreats:

Recovering after cancer retreats - An opportunity to rebuild physical strength and resilience through surf and yoga sessions, mindfulness practice and specialist recovery-focused workshops. Leave feeling physically and mentally nourished, connected, and better equipped to deal with the challenges posed by cancer recovery.

Family & Carers weekend retreat - A specialist, restorative weekend for family and carers of adults with cancer. Take a break in the ocean, take a breath in yoga, and develop your self-care through our specialist workshops delivered by Promas CIC. A weekend of time out and nurture to build your resilience and connection with others.

Living with cancer weekend retreat - A bespoke weekend for adults living with cancer. Immerse yourself in the ocean, build strength in your mind and body, re-discover yourself through dance, and connect with others with similar experiences. A restorative weekend of reflection and time out set on the beautiful Cornish coast.
