Kehelland Village School
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Kehelland we believe that children learn exceptionally well through whole school topics. This approach allows us to link many of the subjects we teach to an exciting theme which will be interesting to our children.

Recent topics have included: Roald Dahl, Cornish Waters, The Beatles, Narnia and Middle Earth, Celts and Romans, Cornish Myths and Legends

Many learning opportunities also arise from children’s response to and natural inquisitiveness about the world around them. Our outdoor approach starts with our reception children who undertake regular woodland learning at Tehidy in their first term with us. Older year groups enjoy treks across nearby Upton Towans , or shelter building at the woods or undertaking the Kehelland to Portreath cycle ride. We have worked hard to ensure that our school grounds also provide a wonderful outdoor environment for our children to learn in.
