Truro and Penwith College

Truro & Penwith College is a Tertiary College with campuses in Truro and Penzance. Rated as one of the best Further Education Colleges (for 16-19 year olds) in the UK, as of June 2017, it is the only college in the country to be rated ‘outstanding’ (the highest possible rating) under Ofsted’s new rating regime.

The College also offers a wide range of Apprenticeships, University-level courses, part-time courses, teacher training, and business and professional development training. Recent alumni include England and British Lions rugby union star Jack Nowell. The College is assisting in the creation of the new Callywith College in Bodmin, and the Stadium for Cornwall.

Truro College and Penwith College merged in April 2008. The completion of a £30 million redevelopment at Penwith College has created six new buildings near the centre of Penzance, and the facilities and resources are second to none.
