Beacham, Deborah
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Hello, my name is Deborah and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder, living in Fraddon. At my latest inspection I was graded outstanding by Ofsted. I live with my husband and little boy who is 6 years old. We are a non smoking house and we don't have any pets.
Before becoming a childminder I worked as a nanny for 18 years, gaining experience of newborns through to teenagers.
I hold a full enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene certificates.
I offer a warm, secure, safe and nurturing environment to your child.
Our days will be filled with lots of fun activities and outings. These will include sensory play, arts + crafts, singing + dancing and role play. As well as regular outings to places such as beaches, woods, parks, soft play, Lost Gardens of Heligan, library, stay and play group and many more.

Early Years Local Offer response
- Systems and strategies we have in place to identify children that may require additional support
At initial introductions and selling in sessions I will obtain information from the parents about their child's stages of development. This will be followed up by regular observations using the EYFS outcomes.
- How we identify and support children's learning and development needs
Through observations I can make an assessment and identify next steps. I will continually review and update progress against the EYFS.
Communication with parent's is in person and via email, WhatsApp and text messaging. I am always available to discuss issues with parents as they arise.
- Links we have to other agencies
I am able to contact health visitor, social services and the family information service if required.
- How we support children transferring to school
I will work closely with the child and parent to develop their independent skills needed to transition to school. I will support their letter and number learning. I will help them to gain the confidence to be able to ask questions when needed.
