Torpoint Library and Information Service
Services and organisations that have the Local Offer flash have filled out inclusion information, meaning that they meet the needs of people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

The management of Torpoint Library has transferred to the Town Council as part of Cornwall Council’s Devolution Programme.  This is helping councils and communities take over local ownership, management and control of services. Cornwall Council continues to support the Town Council to deliver the local service. Torpoint Library customers will still be members of the Cornwall Library and Information Service and will be able to borrow from the Cornwall-wide stock of books, CD’s and DVD’s, as well as having access to online newspapers, e-magazines, eBooks and computers.

Accessibility

  • There is on-street parking outside but no designated disabled spaces
  • Access is via the main entrance and the library is all on one floor
  • There is no free customer parking at this One Stop Shop.  The nearest pay and display car park is in Tamar Street
